Another beautiful two-month experience has come to an end.
It has now become a tradition for us to send our young participants to Slovenia, to Zavod Manipura, an association that involves young people from various European and non-European countries in activities with children, adults, and the disabled, in manual activities, and finally, in activities with the wild animals, they takes care of, at a zoo.
Rachele, from Sant’Andrea Frius, had been looking for a suitable project for her for some time when the new call for applications to spend two months in Slovenia came out.
She was convinced from the start of the choice she had to make.
And she left for two months ❤️
Here’s what she tells us:
“At the end of June one of the most beautiful experiences of my life ended, I had the opportunity to get to know realities outside my comfort zone.
I have met so many wonderful people who have taught me so much and I hope I have left something in them too.
I returned home with baggage full of incredible emotions and memories.
I recommend this type of experience to all young people, but above all to those who cannot find the motivation to get to know the world.
Thanks to this experience I improved my English and learned a lot of new things.
Slovenia is a beautiful place and I’m super glad I lived there.
I thank Sportello in Spalla for accompanying me on this journey, with which I certainly hope to be able to leave again in the future”
